The Cocoanuts

Hotel manager Mr. Hammer is desperately trying to keep his struggling Florida resort afloat during the height of the land boom, and selling questionable real estate seems like his best chance to make some money. His plans are complicated by Chico and Harpo, whose chaotic antics disrupt nearly everything around them, while a pair of schemers plots to steal a valuable necklace and frame someone else for the crime. Amid land auctions, romantic complications, and endless misunderstandings, the resort becomes the setting for the Marx Brothers’ trademark mixture of wordplay, music, and inspired disorder.
