Welcome to SavoiaTV!

SavoiaTV is now live, bringing classic movies, vintage television and original programming together in one streaming destination. The idea behind it is simple. Great entertainment from the past still deserves a place where it can be discovered, enjoyed and shared.

The roots of SavoiaTV reach back to 1972, when I was just 12 years old and began making short 8mm films under the banner Savoia Studios. My original vision was simple. Create original works with no budget, simply for the love of filmmaking. More than five decades later, that same creative spirit continues with SavoiaTV.

An important part of the channel is also devoted to classic movies and television programs that have entered the public domain. These works are an important part of film and television history, but many are becoming unfamiliar to younger audiences. SavoiaTV hopes to introduce them to a new generation while also bringing back fond memories for those who grew up with the golden ages of movies and television.

SavoiaTV.com is the home of the channel. Visitors can browse a growing collection of movies and television series, explore individual episodes, check the Livestream Schedule and watch SavoiaTV directly from the website. The library includes comedy, crime, science fiction, westerns, mysteries, drama, game shows and more, with additional titles being added as the schedule grows.

Scheduled livestreams give SavoiaTV some of the feel of a traditional television channel. At the time of this launch, Prime Time Saturday features lighter entertainment with programs including The Lucy Show, The Mickey Rooney Show, Dusty’s Trail and What’s My Line. Sunday moves into westerns, crime, adventure and science fiction with Bonanza, The Lone Ranger, Sgt. Preston of the Yukon, Stories of the Century, Man With a Camera, Dragnet, Terry and the Pirates and Tales of Tomorrow.

Original programming remains an important part of SavoiaTV as well. Flicks With Rick combines classic films with live conversation and commentary, while Drink With Rick brings seven seasons of the original Saturday Night Winestream into the SavoiaTV family.

SavoiaTV will continue to grow with more movies, television programs, livestreams and original productions. For now, welcome to SavoiaTV. It’s the new home for Timeless Entertainment.
